UnaliWear is building a classically-styled watch that features an easy-to-use speech interface rather than buttons. Unlike traditional medical alert products, it doesn’t requires a smart phone. The UnaliWear Kanega watch has functions which include medication alerts, directions home, detecting if someone has fallen, and reminders to take medications. It’s also waterproof. Currently running a campaign on Kickstarter. The Kanega watch will be available in 2016 and is now available for pre-order on their website.
