InnoPsych is a mental health platform that aims to change the face of therapy and disrupt racial disparities in mental health. The organization's mission is to bring healing to communities of color by connecting people with therapists of color. Features an online national directory launched in January 2020 that allows users to find therapists based on geographic location, type of therapy, insurance type, and race/ethnicity. Founded by Charmain F. Jackman, Ph.D., a Harvard-trained, licensed psychologist with over 25 years in the mental health field. Started with 60 provider profiles at launch. Named a 2019 Citizens Small Business Community Champion, receiving $10,000 for changing the face of therapy in underserved communities.
