MELTIN MMI is involved in the development of myoelectric prosthesis medical devices for amputees. It offers avatar robots using bio-signal processing technology, MELTANT-α a myoelectric prosthesis using cyborg technology that allows processing of bio-signals for replicating the movements of the body and technologies. The prosthesis is capable of lifting objects of up to 2 kg with two fingers, and supporting objects of up to 4 kg with both arms. The company claims that the product features unique control algorithms that allow for delicate movements along with a feedback mechanism to provide operators with a sense of force information.
